Happy Unbirthday!

My eldest is born 4 days after Christmas, so she has always missed having a party with friends her own age...so DH thought we could have a half-birthday party for her this year! Given the love of everything PINK and PRINCESS in our house, the theme is easy...only I have to implement it ASAP...like in the next two weeks!

So...

CAKE: Obviously a Dolly Varden princess cake! Probably with mini cupcakes too...I plan to decorate the princess cake with small white fondant flowers, so will put one on top of each mini cupcake as well to tie the theme together.

FOOD: Mini sandwiches (cut with flower/star cutters), fruit wands with a star on top (ok so they're more fairy, but eh), mini quiches/sausage rolls, popcorn...the cake will take up most of my time(being realistic here) so need to make the food simple.

DRINKS: I'd love to get the mini pump bottles, or juice bottles, and custom label them...

LOLLY BAGS: Jelly bean bracelets!

The little one is refusing her nap, so I'll come back with more ideas later...

Part one. Made for a friend who has just had a baby girl after three boys - so I went for pink obviously! Because the frosting is real raspberries, I had no control over the depth of colour...so they're more hot pink than pale pink...but OMG so yummy! Choc mud with dark chocolate ganache, and raspberry vanilla swirl with real raspberry buttercream.
