Hmm...wonder if there's anywhere in Australia I can buy it? Or should I try making it? Google searches in Australia bring up a totally different type of rock candy...I wonder what we'd call this type here...

Yes I've seen these here - try some of the asian shops otherwise if you are game make it yourself....
